The Festival of Light 2026 - Non-Safari Day Ticket

Make it a Christmas to remember at The Festival of Light 2026.

Enjoy The Festival of Light’s stunning lantern scenes and festive fun, plus all Longleat attractions excluding the Drive-Through Safari.

Your ticket includes: 

  • An outdoor trail of stunning lantern scenes
  • Festive attractions including the Enchanted Christmas Tree Show 
  • The chance to meet our animal residents on foot with our Walking Safari and Boat Safari 
  • A whole host of attractions to explore including Adventure Castle, Rockin’ Rhino and the Hedge Maze 
  • Longleat’s grounds and gardens. 
  • Enjoy the park from 10am - 7.30pm

Sensory Day (8 November 2026) – this day is open to all to enjoy The Festival of Light with reduced numbers on the park, on board the Santa Train and Safari Bus as well as fewer numbers on House Tours. Music will be switched off and lights  will be visible in daylight as well as nighttime.

If you have purchased an Armed Forces, Emergency Services or Corporate Partner ticket, please bring proof of ID with you when you visit (Military ID, DDS card, NHS ID, Police ID, Fire Service ID or proof of current employment and photo ID. Please note we no longer accept the Blue Light Card as ID).

Need to know

  • The Festival of Light has a limited number of tickets available. Pre-booking tickets online in advance is essential.
  • Festive House Tours are not included with your ticket. If there is availability, these will be offered as part of your purchase journey.
  • Tickets give you access to the Park and The Festival of Light until 7.30pm.
  • The lanterns are switched on at around 4pm each day and are outside so please wrap up warm. 
  • Please note, select Main Square attractions, such as the Lorikeet Aviary, Boat Safari, Adventure Castle and The Hedge Maze, will close before the Park does, from 3.30pm acording to light levels. These attractions are not open in the dark.
  • The Walking Safari will close at 4pm according to light levels.
  • Essential Companion tickets are available free if the person being accompanied has either an Access Card or a Longleat Digital Access Pass with a +1 symbol. For Access Card information, please visit our Accessibility page. Regrettably, we are unable to provide free entry without an Access Card or Digital Access Pass.
  • Longleat will open in most weather conditions. In the unlikely event that Longleat must close due to extreme weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, then you will be contacted via the email address you used to make your booking to advise you on next steps.
