Our animals and conservation have always been at the heart of Longleat, and we have a long history of supporting projects across the globe. We’re inviting you, our members, to an exclusive event to learn all about our animals and how we’re helping the different species around the world.

Two x 45-minute talks from a variety of our expert speakers.

Light refreshments provided
The event will take place from 6:30pm to 9pm, with arrivals from 6pm. Please be aware that the rest of the park will not be open at this time.

The history of hippos at Longleat

Hippos in Half Mile Pond are an iconic part of Longleat. Do you know where they came from? As one of our most longstanding species, there are lots of tales about their antics!
All booking fee proceeds from this talk will be donated to Tusk

• Location - Talks will take place in the Chameleon Tree Restaurant. Please park in the Lime Tree car park. View map
• Pre-booking tickets online in advance is essential.
• Numbers are limited, and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
• Please note this is an event for members only and membership will be checked on arrival at Longleat, please ensure you have your membership cards with you on the night.
