VIP LION EXPERIENCE
Would you like to see the famous lions of Longleat, in an experience which takes you closer and more personal than ever before? The lion VIP experience sees your dedicated big cat keeper giving you unrivalled access to the impressive and famous big cats of Longleat.
Your keeper will take you to two off-show areas to meet the lions, where you'll be safe to get out of the vehicle and observe these incredible cats in astonishingly close proximity.
How big do you think an African lion's head is? As big as a dinner plate? As big as a watermelon? It's actually much bigger than even that! You'll be overwhelmed with their size, beauty and strength by getting to see them close enough to make eye contact - a truly breathtaking experience.

On the day
- The Lion VIP Experience is generally filled up around 2 weeks in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, please check the availability calendar above before making your purchase – availability may fluctuate depending on the time of year.
- Age: 8 Years and Over. Children up to, and including, the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult who also has a VIP voucher.
- Meet at VIP Meeting Point 1, the dedicated VIP Hut at the Safari Park entrance, 15 minutes before your tour begins.
- Your experience may be shared with others VIP guests – Maximum of 4 people.
Timings
- 9am: Park open days - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sundays
- Duration: 45 minutes
