The Festival of Light - Day Ticket
Make it a Christmas to remember at The Festival of Light 2025: British Icons with Wallace & Gromit and friends. Meet fan-favourite characters and journey through their adventures, plus travel to some of the UK’s most famous landmarks, native wildlife and sights, all spectacularly reimagined in lantern form.
Your ticket includes:
- A 2.5km outdoor trail of stunning lantern scenes
- Festive attractions including the Enchanted Christmas Tree Show
- Our amazing Winter Drive-Through Safari
- The chance to meet more of our animal residents on foot with our Walking Safari and Boat Safari
- A whole host of attractions to explore including Adventure Castle, Rockin’ Rhino and the Hedge Maze
- Longleat’s grounds and gardens.
The Winter Safari Drive Through opens at 9:30am (last entry 2pm) and you may enjoy the Park from 10am to 7.30pm.

If you have purchased an Armed Forces, Emergency Services or Corporate Partner ticket, please bring proof of ID with you when you visit (Military ID, DDS card, Blue Light Card or proof of current employment and photo ID).

Need to know
- The Festival of Light has a limited number of tickets available. Pre-booking tickets online in advance is essential.
- Festive House Tours are not included with your ticket. If there is availability, these will be offered as part of your purchase journey.
- Tickets give you access to the Park and The Festival of Light until 7.30pm.
- The lanterns are switched on at around 4pm each day and are outside so please wrap up warm.
- Please note, select Main Square attractions, such as the Lorikeet Aviary, Boat Safari, Adventure Castle and The Hedge Maze, will close before the Park does, according to light levels, from 3.30pm according to light levels. These attractions are not open in the dark.
- Animal Adventure will close from 4pm according to light levels.
- Safari Bus Tickets are available to book during the checkout journey or at Guest Services in the Main Square. Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are £9 per person (3+ years).
- Anyone able to provide proof of a disability is entitled to bring a carer free of charge, simply select your Carer Ticket on this page. 2 to 1 care can also be booked in this way - please just bring evidence confirming this requirement with you on your visit.
- Longleat will open in most weather conditions. In the unlikely event that Longleat must close due to extreme weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, then you will be contacted via the email address you used to make your booking to advise you on next steps.
